Citizen Bike has established an ongoing project with Google Inc. to offer their employees a specially-designed folding Citizen Bike.

Starting this summer, a lightweight alloy folding bicycle will be available to all Google employees through a Google company-wide incentive program, to encourage healthy and earth-friendly transportation alternatives.

With rising energy costs, commuters have been looking anew at mass transit and alternate forms of transportation. Bicycle commuting, a healthy, inexpensive transportation alternative, is gaining mainstream popularity in the United States and a folding bike can make multi-modal commuting seamless, practical and appealing.
